Now I know that there are times when we all get a little flashback or memory from the good old days, but do you ever just full out yearn to be back in those simpler days? I know that nostalgia can happen in any given situation at any given time, as it has happened to me so many times. One particular event that I so longingly want to return to is my elementary school days. Back then, I thought that I had it the worst, and that things would get better as the years progressed; I was horribly wrong. Back then, I complained about the little work I had to complete, but seeing how much I have to amount to now I would easily return to it. I also remember spending so much time at my grandparents house where I made memories that will last me a lifetime. Another aspect of my earlier childhood is the television I used to watch. Looking at the kid shows these days, I realized that they aren't half as good as when I watched those types of programs. I used to, and still do, enjoy many of the shows on the Noggin channel, what is now just Nick Jr. Among these shows, The Backyardigans is probably with the most memorable for me. I remember coming home from school during third grade, and almost immediately turning to this show. It's funny how we so often yearn for the past, as if we could just magically travel back to the time we desired. Even though I can't go back to those days, I really do miss them.

Since the time we began working with 3D modeling in 3DS Max, I have began to grow comfortable with the software an its manageable tools. As shown above in the Pencil Model I created, I have a pretty good handle on 3D modeling so far, and I am now able to make simple models like this one. I have gotten used to the transition between 2D and 3D modeling, and I am increasing my knowledge of animation software and understanding. I really like the added extension of the Z axis into my understanding of coordinate planes, and I believe that it will help me with my modeling in the future. However, up until now I have struggled with remembering the small but basic tools. With what I have worked with so far, I am not really nervous about working with 3D modeling in the future, and actually hope and looking forward to doing do so. I really like how creating 3D models allows for the person working on them to bring their imagination and creations to life in a way. I also look forward to being able to bring some of my creations to life in the future, and maybe even potentially make something that could one day make it to the top. I currently enjoy working with 3D modeling, and I am interested to see what happens in the future.
