From what I have learned so far in my newly beginning Game Art Design career, I think that I will have a fairly stabilizing comprehension as I rise up the levels of Digital Design and Animation throughout my last years of high school. I also am excited to see what I will able to do and make considering my other DSA pathway is Photography 1. In the future, I hope to work more with 3DS Max and potentially other 3D modeling software that maybe I will grow to and become more comfortable with. I also hope to be able to animate certain scenes that I have in mind, and also be able to add audio inputs to give it even more flare and unique and individual character. So far, I have not made anything too impressive, but I surely hope and intend to make something worth looking into. I also hope to look more in depth into the material and content we cover, so that I can gain an ideal comprehension and understanding of the software. It would also be cool to see my possibilities of going into careers, and what possible careers are available. In the near future, I hope to work more with 3D texture mapping with materials and creating unique sub-objects. I will work in my portfolio and Weebly website to further advertise and present myself through my hard made work products. Considering that this will be my last blog post of the 2018-2019 school year, I hope to return next year with higher expectations of myself and better work ethic.

From what I have learned so far in working with 3DS Max and other 3D modeling software, I have began to utilize a sense of creativity to incorporate it into my 3D models. As you see above in the 3DS software model, I stumbled across a video where a YouTuber was using his 3D modeling skills to create a very realistic model of a Pokéball. This got me thinking about all the possible creative models and figures I could make with my knowledge of 3D modeling in the future. If I were ever to actually go into the Game Design profession, I would hope to work for a Pokémon Company and definitely under Nintendo or something like that. I have made, in my opinion, good progress since I have first started working with 3D modeling software. Under the assumption that I continue Game Art Design throughout all of high school, I would like to work on such models from famous games like Pokéballs or Minecraft blocks. It would also be totally cool if I could create models similar to that of already existing ones, and then modify them in a way that makes them unique under my critique. I look forward to working with these types of models in the future, and even taking it a step forward with the animation aspects of working with 3DS Max. I also cannot wait to see what kind of models my creativity and imagination will lead me in the near and far future. However, one thing ism for sure, I am definitely looking forward to continuing on this Game Art Design journey.
Then vs. Now For what we have learned so far in working with 3DS Max, I can say that my skills have improved considerably. As you can see above in the two 3DS models I created, I have progressed from making simple primitives to creating my own figures and models outside of the instructed tutorials. In the first model with the snowman, only simple spheres and boxes where used to create it. In the second model, I created my own models using primitives, shapes, and then applying modifiers to change their simplicity. When we first started working with 3DS Max, it took me a little while to adjust to the tools and basic feel of working with the software. Now, I have a fair comprehension of the software, and a relatively good sense of knowledge about what I am doing. However, I can not say that I have grown to like or find joy in 3DS Max any more or less than when I first opened up the software in Game Art Design. I personally do not currently see myself in this type of profession, but that does not mean that my opinion will not change in the near or distant future. I do, however, look forward to learning more about the Game Art Design class, and seeing what kind of cool creations I can make with my more expansive knowledge of the profession.
