1. Avatar: The Last AirbenderThe Nickelodeon show Avatar: The Last Airbender is arguably an anime, but this show will forever be number one on my list because I have ultimately grown up with this show. I have always loved the idea of being able to bend one or all of the elements as a younger child, and I still marvel at the genius of this amazingly well thought out series. Overall, I have re-watched this series at least 10 times. 2. My Hero AcademiaRanking as one of the best anime since it first aired, I started reading the Boku no Hero Academia manga in seventh grade, and I absolutely loved it. I also have really loved the idea of a world where individuals posses extraordinary abilities that allow them to become great heroes. 3. Bungou Stray Dogs Not being a popular anime, I stumbled upon this anime, and was very into it. The characters were all thought out; the powers were cool and gave the audience very unique yet wonderful fight scenes. I also really admire the plot of this anime, and how the story develops. 4. Hunter x Hunter5. Naruto Shippuden I just recently started watching this anime, and between the full out fight scenes and mass character development, this popular anime has an interesting plot and very likable characters. I also really like the attire of the characters, and how they do not stick to one outfit throughout the series. As one of my favorite Shonen Jump manga, the world of ninjutsu has always interested me, and this classic anime is very popular even to this day. I have even put a lot of my time into learning some of the hand motions for the chakra jutsu used in this series.

Incredibles 2Spider-Man: Into the Spider-VerseThe GrinchIncredibles 2, Into the Spider-Verse, and The Grinch, are all very popular films known to many through their releases during 2018. All three of these animated films scored fairly high scores on Rotten Tomatoes, ranging from a 50% to a 97% rating. I personally have only seen Incredibles 2 so far, but I hope to be able to watch the other two films; I hear that they are pretty good. Over the years of 3D animation shows and movies, the processes and realism of the films has drastically changed. From the first Toy Story film to The Good Dinosaur, not only has the character design changed, but also the background graphics. Since Toy Story, 3D animators have changed their methods of animation, character design, scenery, and even music. As an ever-changing society, we are always finding ways to progress into the future and to better our technologies. Now audiences young and old can get a sense of realism as they watch these films. When the audience sees a character walk through the forest, they feel that they are walking forwards with them. Taking this a step further, animators have worked hard to produce 4D animation which gives the audience a stronger perception of reality within the film. I am very interested to see the progression that will be made in the future and how animation companies will develop animation methods and films. I hope to be able to continue working in Digital Design and Animation while also moving forward in my career and hopefully working in animation more in depth.
