Lately in GAD, we have been working on the Adobe Program Illustrator. So far, there have been ups and downs, and at first I didn't really like it. But now that we've got some practice doing the Cheeseburger assignment (above) and the Bezier Game, I am a little more comfortable with the program. For me, using the Pen Tool was probably the simplest tool for me. Then, on the other hand, there is the Mesh Tool. It took me many tries to mesh the cheeseburger bun's colors, but I was finally able to do it. I still haven't completely mastered it, but I've come along way from when I first started using it. Illustrator is very similar to Photoshop, with a slightly different tool set. Honestly, I prefer to use Photoshop right now because I am more familiar with its tools. However, there are many tools in Photoshop that I have yet to use, like the Pen Tool. I have started to use this tool in Illustrator, and hopefully I will get much more comfortable with it. Illustrator could be used for various things in animation, including creating meshes for certain images to give the object a 3d appearance.
