POLYGON LASSO TOOL As shown above, for my Photoshop tool selection blog I chose to blog about my favorite tool: the Polygon Lasso tool! Not only is it a cool tool, but it is efficient in most Photoshop projects and it is very easy to use. I personally use this tool every chance I get, and it really helps with image editing. Besides the Magic Wand tool, I would say that the Polygon Lasso tool is the most commonly used tool in Photoshop. Also, I believe that it is the most convenient tool in Photoshop. This tool is very versatile, and can be used in various and numerous ways. For instance, it can be used to cover up a section of an image by setting the opacity from 0% and up to its max capacity. Or, it could be used to create a certain shape or design for a sign or logo. Overall, the Polygon Lasso tool is very helpful in a number of scenarios. I mainly use it for overlapping layers to give certain sections of images affects. A piece of work that I used the Polygon Lasso on was the Creating Composite Images Assignment. I used the Polygon Lasso tool along with the Crop and Layer Mask tools to include the OK hand into a drawing of our first president George Washington. I in have used this tool in many other Photoshop projects, in GAD and Photo 1. I really love using this tool, and I can't wait to use it often and hopefully the near future.
