Over the summer between the 2018-19 and 2019-20 school year, and my enrollment in Digital Design and Animation I and II, I have been working with past materials at my own pace to better my comprehension of the course. In doing this, I hope to better prepare myself for the future Digital Design and Animation courses and partake in a variety of software involving video, audio, and other design components. I have specifically been working on my audio and video editing skills by composing some new pieces in Adobe Premiere Clip and Adobe Premiere. While working with these software, I have been able to grow in my video and audio editing skills and techniques. Although the video below is an older assignment that I have completed, it is a great example of how I have progressed in such a span of time from the previous school year to the present. In the process of working with Adobe Premiere, I have learned many things including how to better conjoin multiple components into a single piece using more efficient and smoother transitions and cuts. I have also learned how to edit an audio segment over a video and align them so that they fit almost as if they were supposed to. I have began to enjoy working with video and audio editing, however, I still find it quite troublesome as I did when I first started using the video and audio editing software. I hope to continue working in this area of Game Art Design and Animation, and I cannot wait to see what kinda things I will produce.
